Courts was packed with kids on Saturday lah.

this was a bloody expensive trip for my parents. my trip cost like $1800. you know. SIA. SIA. yar
flew on the night of 6 of june (fri) around 9.20pm at Changi T3. and reached Brisbane International Airport around 7.00am Au time, which is like 5am Sg time. btw, australia is 2 hours ahead of singapore.
waited for an hour before the coach arrive at the airport. too early for them liao.

the air outdoors damn shiok. natural air-con. and it was winter lah. but not the freezing temperature that kind.
took a 1.5 hour ride down to Goldcoast. i slept.
1st stop: Paradise Country.
this was a place mainly to see the farm animals. especially Au's famous koalas and kangaroos.

what is this? lol. i cant remember the name. it is some sort of emu. i think
dad and me.
btw, the timing you see on all the photos are Sg timing.

and seriously, all the bird species you see in Au are freaking fat.

oh. thats me standing there. yes. right there.
so, for the rest of the afternoon, rested in the room, then went to the nearby supermarket. bloody expensive. plus the mart closes around 6pm everyday. maybe 5.30pm Au time.

the day was over very quickly. NO activities after dinner lo. boring. my family then went to the nearby shops and walked around. not buying anything except for a slice of pizza. which is A$2.80. expensive dao....

after that. go back room to sleep. but mother and father went to the casino called Conrad Jupiters at another hotel.
ZZZZzzzzzzzzzzZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzz. damn exhausting day after 7 hours of flight.

Next morning, sunday.
woke up by father to have breakfast at the small restaurant in the hotel.
and the morning air was DAMN COLD. i was shivering alot.
boring can??? CAN.
the range of food is so little. and WE ATE THE SAME THING FOR 3 CONSECUTIVE DAYS LAH.
wth. this hotel no good.
we ate around 7++am Au time..... which is like eating breakfast at 5++am. arghh. so early!!!!!!!!!!!
brother and i took a walk down the beach. and it was still super cold. 1 jacket not enough for me. i cannot tahan cold de.

our tour guide is the one on the chair in yellow/orange. her name's sally.
she told us that we had the whole afternoon to explore the whole area. which starts from 10am to 5pm. 7 hours!

there was also a place show casing animals... like a mini zoo

this is the scary one. 39 levels high. it drops you down 39 levels... without warning.
and food is damn expensive lah. lunch for 4 people. and small portions only cost us A$45++ which is like $50-$60 SGD lah. FAINTS. plus, chilli must be bought.
if you are the must-have-chilli-every-meal that kind of person, Au is not a place for you to come. go Thailand, better. LOL
outside. when we left the place.
and it turns dark very early in Au. coz it is winter now, it is dark around 5+ Au time.
and we got back to the hotel. (actually i took many pictures lah... just that there are too many of them... didnt want to post up all)
after dinner and i am off to the casino with the rest of the adults and my parents too lah.

once you get on a cab, the meter jumps 10cents already.
it is like every 5 seconds it jumps 10 cents.
imagine that. and then still multiply back to SGD.
faints.
it was a 10 min ride. and it cost us A$11+.
faints can.
the age restriction was 18. so i can go in. but i didnt bet on anything.
but the security guy stopped me, and asked me for my identification.
cant be helped.... dont look adult.
lol. i just followed my mother around. then as usual, she would only play roulette.
and she did won like A$600. woot. lol
so, i just sat there and looked the entire time.
and the dealers can like every 30min or so. and every 2 tables, there will be a 'supervisor'. MENTAL MATHS DAMN GOOD.
if some mad guy bet like 20 chips or more on 1 number... dealer mental count 1st... then supervisor count again... and the winning goes by hundreds ok. plus 1 chip is at least A$2.50. imagine that. and odds are 35-1 if the number you bet opens. and still got many other odds also lah. MAD CASE.
plus, the all the dealers must know how to play all the games.

smiles coz you get to see the looney tunes characters... and batman etc.
and yes, breakfast was the same. suck man.
but before to Movieworld, we went down to the beach again. this with parents. but it was raining!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

along with him was another jap guy and another uncle. they played golf for 2 consecutive days loh. nv join us at Dreamworld and Movieworld.
omg. look at the almost 90 degress roller coaster. it is the superman roller coaster. and the left side is the batwing... by batman of course.
my mad brother sat on the superman ride. 1st sit somemore!
Movieworld was much smaller than Dreamworld.

and fly fly fly fly. for another 7 hours back to SG.
and, unexpected, i saw Mei Ling (bowen band de)!
we took the same flight back.
she went to Brisbane for some music exchange programme. lol.
i only saw her at Changi T3.
plus, i forgot to add on i saw PHILIP TAN at Au lah. same hotel. but i didnt say hi to him. FYI: philip tan is SRJC's HOD for discipline / counsellors. LOL
anyway, the trip was fun but too ex to go for a 2nd round.
