Hougang to Liang Court to Mustafa to City Square Mall

As the post title says it all.

It was a last minute decision to head out and meet with J for lunch at Hougang because it was raining and I didn't really wanna step out of house.

J was kind enough to accompany me today. I was kinda whinny coz of the rain. And I wanted to head over to Audio House at Liang Court to look for a compact camera.
Thanks J! coz exams are around the corner now!

There are seriously a lot of things that I want to buy: Compact camera, Ipod, canvas bag, dry cabinet, laptop... etc.

Anyw, back to the route.
Was scrambling at Hougang Mall's Harvey Norman then worked our way to Liang Court. And definitely, a stop over at The Central at Clarke Quay. Look at these:

Balloon Sculptures! Cute right?

Anyw, the coolest thing happened:
The girl who was working at the exhibition came up to me and asked me where did I buy my blouse. She said it was nice!
Woah, first time some random stranger complimented me and my dressing. Heh!
I replied her: "Oh, I bought it in China."
Oh man, sorry but gotta disappoint her.

Back on track to Liang Court, and lucky me and J! There was a cosplay event on going. Apparently it was a Japanese Fair. And lucky lucky again, the cosplay event is only on for today!
I REALLY LIKE ANIME. But not the otaku that kind, and I won't spend my money on a figurine that costs like prolly $60 or above. But still, I'd pay to get into events like AFA (Anime Festival Asia).
And I have gone to AFA for consecutive 3 years already!
Here are some pictures I took at AFAX:

Side tracked. :s
HAHA. But the event at Liang Court today was somewhat new. See this:

HIPSTER AH MAHS OR WHAT?!

Never too old to do such costume playing!
AWESOME AH MAHS.

And I gian la, bought 2 mouse pads and a hand-held fan. MIKU!
Kept Miku for myself and gave another mouse pad (one character in Hitman Reborn) to my Bro.

Mouse Pad

Hand-held fan
IKR, CUTE.

Ended the rah-rah drama with cosplayers going up on stage to pose for all the fanatic photographers.

Audio House was meh~ and nothing much.
But I very bo liao, go zi pai!

In the toilet some more. See my nice top! Tribal prints. Chio luh.

After that, J suggested we head to Mustafa where prices will be cheaper. And off we go towards Farrer Park. FYI, Farrer Park Station is nearer to Mustafa than Little India Station.

And Mustafa is like a huge playground. It sells almost everything. And somewhat cheaper.
J was contemplating to buy a 32'' LED Samsung TV to be hanged in his room, so he compared prices from Audio House and the ones at Mustafa. Ding ding ding! Mustafa's prices were more competitive. Cheaper by at least $50-$70 for the same model.
So folks, if you can't wait for the quarterly IT Fairs such as COMEX or SITEX etc... you may wanna consider going Mustafa. Or another alternative is to check out if shops like Harvey Norman, Gain City or Courts are organising their own sales, which are usually held at EXPO. Click here to check out!
The upcoming on will be organised by Harvey Norman called The Tech Expo from 28 April - 6 May 2012 at EXPO Hall 5B. Admission is free from 10am - 9pm.

The great thing about Farrer Park area is that there is City Square Mall to shop as well.
Well well, new cinema in the neighbourhood people! Golden Village is opening up at CSM end of 2012.
Seriously, I am not a huge huge fan of GV, especially the one at Tiong Bahru Plaza. I am hoping when this opens and I patronise at CSM, it will be way betterrrrr!

Alrighty folks. Time for me to head to bed soon. My head is splitting soon! Need to sleep early!
Bye folks!
